Chanel Iman Pairs Edgy Givenchy Shark Lock Wedge Boots With a Blazer Dress in Paris

On June 22, 2022, Chanel Iman attended Givenchy’s Spring/Summer 2023 menswear show during Paris Fashion Week with her then-boyfriend, NFL player Davon Godchaux.

Iman wore a black Givenchy blazer as a mini dress, but the defining element of the look was on her feet: white leather Givenchy Shark Lock boots. The tall slip-on style featured the house’s distinctive shark-lock hardware, 4G chain detailing, almond-shaped toes, and 3.5-inch covered wedge heels.

The oversized black blazer featured front seams, slit pockets, and Givenchy’s silver-tone shark-lock clasp, echoing the hardware used on her boots.

She added a chunky silver chain necklace and a black Givenchy Cut Out bag finished with a silver G Cube chain and metal buckle closure.

Her hair was swept to one side with small hoop earrings visible, while neutral makeup kept the focus on the black-and-white Givenchy look.

The standout footwear was a pair of Givenchy tall white leather boots made from smooth calfskin. A leather band wrapped around each leg, finished with Givenchy’s shark-lock clasp and mixed silver- and gold-finish 4G chain hardware.

The boots were finished with almond toes and 3.5-inch covered wedge heels.

Shopping update: Chanel Iman’s exact white Shark Lock wedge boots were a $2,395 style when she wore them in 2022, but Givenchy has continued to develop the Shark Lock silhouette.

As of July 2026, Farfetch listed several versions of the boots, including Shark Lock wedge boots for $2,274, Shark Lock 85mm leather boots for $1,305, Shark Lock 100mm leather boots for $2,942, and Shark Lock calf-leather boots for $2,202.

Pre-owned Shark Lock wedge styles were also available, giving shoppers another way to find versions closer to Iman’s original wedge silhouette. Prices and availability can change.
