Victoria Beckham made color the focus when she visited her Dover Street flagship store in Mayfair, London, on December 7, 2020, pairing a vivid red silk dress from her own Pre-Spring/Summer 2021 collection with hot-pink satin VB 90 pumps.

The red-and-fuchsia combination was deliberately high contrast: rather than grounding the dress with black or neutral footwear, Beckham extended the color story to her shoes. The pointed-toe pumps also gave the fluid midi dress a sharper, more structured finish as she left the store after an interview with Lorraine‘s Mark Heyes.

The dress came from Beckham’s Pre-Spring/Summer 2021 collection and was cut from red silk crepe de chine. Its fluid silhouette was shaped at the waist, while the asymmetric midi-length hem kept the contrasting pink pumps visible as she walked.

The design combined a high ruffled collar and cascading front ruffles with slim black neckties. Those dark accents echoed her black face mask and provided a visual break between the saturated red dress and fuchsia footwear.

Beckham kept the accessories restrained, wearing small gold earrings rather than introducing another prominent element to the red-and-pink palette. Her hair was swept into a loose updo, while a black face mask repeated the dark contrast of the dress’s narrow neckties.

Victoria Beckham’s Hot Pink VB 90 Satin Pumps

The footwear supplied the outfit’s strongest contrast. Beckham wore her VB 90 pumps in bright fuchsia satin, choosing pink against red instead of matching the dress or defaulting to black or nude heels.

At 5’4¼” (163.2 cm) with a US shoe size 7, Victoria Beckham has long favored streamlined clothing and high heels. The VB 90 fit that established formula with its narrow pointed toe, low-cut vamp, and slender heel.

Made in Italy, the satin court shoes feature a slim 90mm (about 3.5-inch) stiletto. Their relatively simple silhouette kept the emphasis on the color pairing, while the exposed pointed toes provided a crisp counterpoint to the movement and asymmetry of the silk dress.

Why Pink Satin Pumps Are Familiar Territory for Victoria Beckham

The vivid footwear was not an isolated experiment for Beckham. In 2019, she punctuated black-and-white tailoring with highlighter-pink satin pumps from her own Fall 2019 collection. In that outfit, the pink shoes supplied virtually all the saturated color; here, the same footwear idea was pushed further by setting fuchsia against an equally vivid red dress.

The VB 90 itself also appeared elsewhere in Beckham’s wardrobe. At the 2019 GQ Men of the Year Awards, she likely wore her black-satin VB 90mm pumps with an oversized white suit from her Resort 2020 collection. Although the shoes were mostly concealed beneath the trousers, the combination showed how the same streamlined pump could work as a neutral foundation rather than a color accent.

That pointed silhouette belongs to a much longer pattern in Beckham’s footwear choices. Her shoe archive includes sharply pointed Casadei Blade and Manolo Blahnik BB pumps, which she has paired with both fluid dresses and precise tailoring. Against the red silk dress, the fuchsia VB 90s followed the same basic formula but made color, rather than an extreme heel height or distinctive hardware, the defining feature.

The VB 90 pumps are from an earlier collection, but Victoria Beckham’s current shoe collection is available on the designer’s official website, including the label’s latest pumps, slingbacks, sandals, boots, and flats.

What Victoria Beckham Said About Her Family’s Christmas Traditions

The store visit also included an interview with Lorraine‘s Mark Heyes, during which Beckham discussed her family’s Christmas traditions and her son Brooklyn Beckham’s engagement to Nicola Peltz.

“They are so happy. She’s wonderful, sweet, and kind. She’s such a lovely, warm woman. We couldn’t have asked for Brooklyn to meet a more adorable lady,” Victoria said of Brooklyn’s fiancée, Nicola Peltz.

She added: “It’s nice with everything that has gone on this year that Brooklyn has found his soulmate and the lady he wants to spend the rest of his life with.”

Her eldest son, 21, had proposed to actress Nicola, 25, in July 2020, less than a year after they went public with their relationship.

Victoria also talked about how their family celebrated Christmas that year. “I don’t know who is more excited, the kids or David! We’ve had Christmas music playing in the Beckham house for about a month and a half.”

As for their Christmas outfits, Beckham said the family wore matching pajamas. “We have matching Beckham Christmas PJs – a little monogram with our names on.”

She also revealed that David handled the cooking since her culinary skills were “not great.”
