The cast of Practical Magic 2, Sandra Bullock, Nicole Kidman, Joey King, and Maisie Williams, brought plenty of glamour to the European premiere of the romantic fantasy film at Odeon Luxe Leicester Square on Wednesday, stepping onto the red carpet in an enchanting mix of bold prints, shimmering metallics, airy silhouettes, and dramatic colors.

Practical Magic 2 is a sequel to Practical Magic (1998), with Bullock and Kidman reprising their roles as sisters Sally and Gillian Owens. It takes place 25 years after the events of the first film, with Joey King and Maisie Williams playing Sally’s daughters, Kylie and Antonia Owens.

The cast clearly understood the assignment, with each star bringing her own take on the film’s mystical aesthetic.

Sandra Bullock embraced her wild side in a striking Givenchy leopard-print dress, pairing the fierce look with playful pompom heels from the same house. Nicole Kidman went in a completely different direction, shimmering in a head-to-toe metallic Chanel look. Joey King looked effortlessly enchanting in an airy Miu Miu ensemble, finished with delicate strappy slingback heels. Meanwhile, Maisie Williams made a dramatic entrance in a vibrant red Ellie Misner gown, bringing a romantic, captivating touch to the event.

Sandra Bullock Goes Wild in Givenchy Pom-Pom Heels and Leopard Print

Sandra Bullock has long used statement heels to complement her 5’7″ frame, and her Practical Magic 2 premiere look took that instinct in a wonderfully eccentric direction. Dressed in Givenchy, she balanced the drama of leopard print with one of the night’s most playful shoe choices: black Pom Pom sandals.

Her shoes added a playful twist to the look. From the front, they were surprisingly restrained, with an open square toe, a slim toe strap, and a delicate T-strap connecting to a buckled ankle strap. It was another extravagant take on the pom-pom heel trend we’ve seen repeatedly on the red carpet, where an otherwise polished shoe becomes much more theatrical through an unexpected burst of texture.

The real surprise came at the back, where oversized plush black pompoms covered the heel counter and wrapped around the chunky heels, adding a fun, statement-making finish.

Bullock paired the sandals with a Givenchy Fall 2026 leopard-print dress, giving her look a fierce yet enchanting feel. A lot was happening here, from the bold animal print to the sculptural silhouette, yet it never crossed into tacky territory.

The structured corset bodice featured a strapless neckline with pointed sides, then flowed into an asymmetrical, draped skirt. At the hip, an oversized knotted bow gathered the fabric, creating a daring thigh-high slit that revealed her leg.

Bullock accessorized with layered pendant necklaces by Jessica McCormack, including the Ball n Chain Cushion Cut Diamond Pendant and the Oval Diamond Torque necklace. She also added earrings and a few rings, including the Jessica McCormack Diamond Yellow Gold Snake ring. Nicole Kidman looked bewitching in her head-to-toe Chanel look, bringing an ethereal, otherworldly touch to the red carpet. Her footwear was pretty simple, though: a pair of Chanel sandals with a wide strap across the toes and a slim ankle strap secured with a delicate rounded buckle.

What made the sandals stand out was their metallic gold finish, which worked beautifully with her shimmering gown and added a warm, sophisticated touch.

They were finished with high heels of around 3.5 inches, adding even more height to Nicole Kidman’s already statuesque 5’10½” frame. Rather than downplaying her height, Kidman has long embraced stilettos, pointed pumps, and sleek sandals that make her proportions an intentional part of her red-carpet look.

Kidman’s custom Chanel gown, designed by creative director Matthieu Blazy, continued her long-running red-carpet relationship with the French fashion house. Covered in celadon seafoam-green sequin paillettes, the dress created an iridescent, scale-like finish that shimmered from every angle without looking overdone. The intricate embellishments felt especially fitting for the magical, otherworldly mood of the Practical Magic 2 premiere.

Beyond the paillettes, the gown was also adorned with pearls and gold chains, intertwined and draped across her chest and over her shoulders to create a delicate, fringed-armor effect. It added drama while referencing Karl Lagerfeld’s 1990s chain work.

Equally striking, the sweetheart neckline and corset bodice hugged her frame and hips before falling into a sleek column skirt with a daring hip-high slit that revealed her legs.

Kidman accessorized with Chanel L’Esprit Du Lion earrings, an Omega Constellation watch, and a Chanel No. 5 drop ring for a polished finish. She wore her long blonde hair down with wispy curtain bangs, finishing with peachy blush and berry lips.

Joey King Channels Fairy-Tale Glamour in Miu Miu Slingback Pumps

Joey King leaned into the movie’s romantic side in Miu Miu, pairing a sheer lemon gown with satin slingback pumps. The elongated toes and towering heels worked particularly well with King’s petite proportions and her long-running preference for height-boosting designer shoes, adding a sharper counterpoint to the softness of the organza and floral appliqués.

While I would have preferred strappy heels to really embrace that fairy-like vibe, her slingback pumps added a sharper, more modern touch that gave the look a nice contrast.

Her Miu Miu pumps came in yellow satin and featured multiple slim straps: one across the vamp, two running diagonally across the foot, and another slingback strap around the heel. Tiny gold-tone buckles secured each strap, adding a delicate metallic detail to the clean design. The construction recalled the black patent Miu Miu slingbacks King previously wore in Paris, but the lemon satin gave this pair a much softer, more romantic character.

Elongated squared toes and towering 4-inch heels added even more height and gave the shoes a sharp, architectural shape.

Joey King paired the pumps with a custom semi-sheer organza Miu Miu dress in a soft pastel lemon shade, continuing her increasingly close fashion relationship with Miu Miu.

It was a very different proposition from the hand-waxed brown Miu Miu pumps and relaxed layers she wore to the house’s Fall/Winter 2026 show in Paris, trading that deliberately weathered look for something softer and more romantic. Here, short puff sleeves, a ruffled scoop neckline, and a sweeping A-line skirt gave the lightweight dress its fairy-tale quality.

The real fairy-tale detail came from the delicate 3D white-and-yellow floral appliqués scattered across the neckline, bodice, and skirt. I loved how the tiny flowers made the sheer gown look like something straight out of an enchanted garden!

Her matching yellow Miu Miu bra and underwear were visible, adding a playful, fashion-forward element to the romantic look.

King finished with a L’Dezen Violetta Fleur Bleu ring. Her auburn hair fell in long, soft waves over one shoulder, with textured bangs framing her face, while rosy makeup and softly defined eyes completed the dreamy, fairy-like beauty look.

Maisie Williams Channels Sandra Bullock in a Dramatic Ellie Misner Gown

Maisie Williams’ heels may have been hidden beneath her gown, but the sweeping silhouette made an especially dramatic statement on her petite 5’0″ frame. She wore a custom Ellie Misner dress inspired by the gown Sandra Bullock wore to the 1999 Los Angeles premiere of Forces of Nature, turning the look into a stylish tribute to her on-screen mother.

The gown captured that sultry, rebellious ’90s glamour with a sleeveless, structured corset bodice, a high boat neckline, and side ruching that gathered the fabric around her waist. The fitted top transitioned into a heavy satin wrap-around column skirt, which tied at the hip with long, thick ribbons before cascading into a dramatic floor-length train.

The deep burgundy-red color gave the look a rich, vampy vibe and suited the movie’s romantic, slightly mysterious mood.

She also carried a red Roger Vivier clutch decorated with a rose, adding another dramatic detail to the ensemble.

Her high updo, complete with wispy bangs framing her face, kept the neckline visible, while rosy makeup, defined eyes, and a soft red lip completed the glamorous, spellbinding look. And while the floor-length gown kept her shoes out of sight, footwear has rarely been an afterthought for Williams, whose petite 5’0″ frame has made high heels and statement shoes a recurring part of her red-carpet style.
