Gaga stars as Patrizia Reggiani, the ex-wife of Maurizio Gucci, and immersed herself in the role well beyond filming.
She told British Vogue that she lived as Reggiani for a year and a half, spoke in character for nine months, and dyed her blonde hair to help complete the transformation.

Gaga completed the look with black Pleaser Flamingo-1020 ankle boots, a lace-up style built on an 8-inch heel and substantial 4-inch platform. Her pair stood apart with sparkling embellishments across the platform, echoing the crystals on her Gucci gown.
The choice was hardly a one-off. Gaga has repeatedly returned to Pleaser’s extreme platforms, from thigh-high Flamingo-3000 boots at the 2017 Grammys to white Flamingo boots during her 2021 performances with Tony Bennett.
As of August 2026, the standard Pleaser Flamingo-1020 remains available on Amazon for about $106. Gaga’s crystal-embellished version was customized for the red carpet, but the retail style has the same dramatic 8-inch heel and 4-inch platform.

Gaga later changed into a strapless velvet Brandon Maxwell dress with a sculpted neckline, high slit, and low-cut back. She kept the same Brian Atwood sandals, with the crystal-covered platforms complementing both her Carolina Herrera dress and the more revealing performance look.
