On May 18, 2021, Kris Jenner and Corey Gamble stepped out for a date night at Craig’s in West Hollywood, where Jenner carried a bottle of her daughter Kendall Jenner’s 818 Tequila and stopped to sign autographs outside the restaurant.

Their outfits went in different directions, but their sneakers shared something specific: both chose collectible versions of the Air Jordan 4.

Jenner paired her white Dolce Gabbana suit with Virgil Abloh’s Off-White x Air Jordan 4 “Sail,” while Gamble wore the suede Air Jordan 4 “University Blue,” a UNC-inspired colorway released just weeks before their outing.

Jenner wore a white Dolce Gabbana stretch virgin-wool blazer with contrasting red trim and notched lapels, paired with matching side-striped high-waisted trousers.

A low-cut white top continued the tonal look, while large hoop earrings, a pendant necklace, and rings provided the finishing touches.

She wore her signature dark pixie cut with softly smoky eye makeup and peach-toned blush.

Kris Jenner Wears the Off-White x Air Jordan 4 “Sail”

Jenner grounded the tailored suit with the Off-White x Air Jordan 4 “Sail,” Virgil Abloh’s deconstructed interpretation of the classic basketball sneaker.

The women’s-exclusive collaboration had appeared ahead of its release at Abloh’s Figures of Speech exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago and on Off-White’s runway. It officially launched on July 25, 2020, with a $200 retail price and style code CV9388-100.

Rather than relying on the Jordan 4’s usual high-contrast color blocking, the “Sail” uses layers of Sail and Muslin across its leather, translucent TPU, and grid-mesh construction. Exposed foam, a cream Off-White zip tie, and the familiar “AIR” typography on the midsole give the sneaker Abloh’s recognizable unfinished treatment.

As of August 2026, the Off-White x Air Jordan 4 “Sail” remains available on the resale market. StockX listed the women’s release with a lowest ask of about $500, though resale prices vary by size and market demand.

Corey Gamble Chooses the Air Jordan 4 “University Blue”

Gamble kept his outfit more casual in a brown Fear of God Essentials T-shirt and black jeans, but his footwear echoed Jenner’s silhouette choice. He wore the Air Jordan 4 “University Blue,” also tied to Jordan Brand’s UNC color palette.

Released on April 28, 2021, for $200 under style code CT8527-400, the sneaker references Michael Jordan’s University of North Carolina roots through its University Blue suede upper. Cement-grey speckling appears on the support wings and heel, while the tongue carries an oversized woven label inspired by tags found on athletic jerseys.

As of August 2026, the Air Jordan 4 “University Blue” also remains active on the resale market. StockX showed a lowest ask of about $451 for the standard adult release, with prices varying by size and availability.

Seen together, the sneakers offer two very different interpretations of the same Air Jordan 4 shape: Jenner’s neutral Off-White collaboration emphasizes Virgil Abloh’s deconstructed design language, while Gamble’s blue suede pair draws directly from Jordan’s college basketball history.

Why the Air Jordan 4 Still Matters Beyond the Basketball Court

Kris Jenner and Corey Gamble’s contrasting colorways are part of a much bigger Air Jordan story. From Virgil Abloh’s Off-White collaborations to decades of celebrity street style, the silhouette continues to turn up in some of fashion’s most memorable sneaker moments.
