Jenna Dewan is joining the cast of the 35th season of Dancing with the Stars, which premieres on ABC and Disney+ on September 15. Co-host Julianne Hough has also been stepping out to promote DWTS Season 35, pairing black mules with contrasting Alaïa and Michael Kors looks.

And during a recent appearance on Good Morning America to promote the upcoming season, she already looked ready to hit the dance floor in a breezy, summery Proenza Schouler dress paired with equally summery Christian Louboutin thong heels.

It was also another strong shoe moment outside the GMA studios for Dewan, who wore sleek open-toe stiletto mules for a Good Morning America appearance earlier in 2026 while promoting The Rookie.

Jenna Dewan wore Christian Louboutin’s “Miss Z Infradita” slingback sandals, and they were such a good choice for summer. Thong-style sandals are having a major moment, and the slingback detail gives this pair a slightly dressier feel while keeping the shoes light and easy.

The minimalist shape also fits an established pattern in Dewan’s footwear choices: she has repeatedly favored barely-there, open-toe heels, from Stuart Weitzman’s iconic “Nudist” sandals on the red carpet to streamlined stiletto mules for daytime press appearances.

Made in Italy from brown lambskin leather, the sandals had a clean, minimalist design with a classic thong front and an elasticated slingback strap. I particularly liked the tapered shape, which made the simple one-piece leather thong look more refined. Brown sandals have also become a recurring part of Dewan’s 2026 wardrobe: in February, she contrasted a sculptural all-white Magda Butrym outfit with glossy brown open-toe heels, using the darker footwear in much the same way to ground an otherwise light look.

The sandals feature 3-inch stiletto heels, padded insoles, and Louboutin’s signature red soles, giving the simple summer style a glamorous touch. At an estimated 5’2″ (157.5 cm), Dewan has long used high heels to add height to her petite frame, even saying she loves heels of four inches and higher. By her usual standards, then, these 3-inch Louboutins are actually a relatively restrained choice.

Dewan paired the relaxed heeled sandals with Proenza Schouler’s “Sukki” dress. Made from draped viscose, the dress came in a gorgeous marigold yellow that looked especially striking against her skin. I loved how the bright shade made the whole outfit feel instantly more summery!

The dress featured a fitted, sleeveless bodice with a boat neckline and cinched waist, showing off her toned arms and creating a flattering shape. The back was left open, adding a little unexpected drama to the simple silhouette.

From the waist down, the dress opened into a fluid, draped skirt with soft pleats, an asymmetrical bubble hem, and a front slit. The loose, rounded shape gave the impression that she was wearing wide-leg pants, making the dress look even more relaxed and playful.
