At 5ft 7 (170.2 cm) tall and believed to wear a US size 8 shoe, Erika Jayne already has a statuesque frame before stepping into heels.
At the 2018 American Music Awards in Los Angeles on October 9, 2018, she added even more height in one of Christian Louboutin’s more elaborate pump designs: the metallic mixed-media Eklectica.

The pointed-toe pumps combined mirrored metallic panels, glitter, and sequins with Louboutin’s signature red soles, carrying the high-shine finish of Jayne’s sparkling silver mini dress down to her feet.
She completed the look with chandelier earrings and diamond rings, keeping the accessories in the same glamorous, light-catching palette.

The Eklectica was offered in several finishes and heel heights, but Jayne’s version stood out for its combination of platinum Specchio leather with an oxidized mirror-like finish, glitter, sequins, and contrasting metallic panels.
The mixed textures gave the pointed-toe pump a patchwork effect while retaining Christian Louboutin’s recognizable red sole.
Christian Louboutin’s Eklectica Pumps Came in Multiple Heel Heights and Metallic Finishes
Christian Louboutin produced the Eklectica in several variations, including 85mm and 120mm heels. The collection ranged from relatively understated black leather versions to glitter-covered and mirrored-leather designs in silver, gold, bronze, yellow, and rose-gold tones.

Despite the different materials, the versions shared the same basic idea: a pointed-toe pump constructed from curved contrasting panels.
Some combined Nappa, velour, and patent leather, while the more decorative styles mixed Specchio mirrored leather with glitter and other reflective finishes.

The 120mm versions offered the more dramatic silhouette, while the 85mm Eklectica retained the pointed toe and paneled construction on a lower stiletto heel.
Jayne’s metallic pair was particularly well suited to her American Music Awards look because its silver and reflective surfaces echoed the finish of her sparkling mini dress rather than introducing another color or texture.

Buying Christian Louboutin Eklectica Pumps Pre-Owned? Check for Fakes First
The Christian Louboutin Eklectica is an older style, so readers searching for a pair today are likely to encounter it on the resale market. Before buying used Eklectica pumps, pay close attention to the construction, stitching, insoles, packaging, and signature red leather soles, as counterfeit Louboutins can closely imitate the originals.
Our guide to spotting fake Christian Louboutin shoes explains the authentication details to check when evaluating a pre-owned pair, including the logo, heel counter, materials, box and dust bag, and the color and finish of the red sole.
