Emily Alyn Lind and Caylee Cowan brought their own takes on summer style to the photocall for their anthology mystery film, Company, during the 83rd Venice International Film Festival.

Company is directed by Casey Affleck and is competing for the Golden Lion at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival.

For the photocall, Lind went for a mix of vintage femininity and modern edge in a black-and-white Erdem look paired with black Aquazzura platform heels. Cowan took a more relaxed approach to summer dressing, wearing a crisp white shirt with a denim midi skirt and white Maison Margiela wedge heels.

Emily Alyn Lind Toughens Up Erdem Romance With Aquazzura Aimée Platforms

Emily Alyn Lind went the black-and-white route for the Company Venice Film Festival photocall, grounding her feminine Erdem dress with Aquazzura’s towering “Aimée” platform sandals. The retro-inspired style has become something of a celebrity statement shoe: Kate Hudson wore the same Aquazzura Aimée platforms in metallic silver at the 2026 Oscars.

Made in Italy from black suede, the sandals brought a bold retro touch to her ladylike outfit. I loved how the chunky shoes gave the pretty dress a little more attitude!

The sandals featured multiple thin straps arranged in a cage-like design across the front, giving the shoes a bold, retro feel. Their open almond toes showed off her pedicure, while a slim strap wrapped around the heel and fastened with a delicate buckle.

The dramatic silhouette was set on sturdy 5.1-inch block heels and chunky double platforms, adding substantial height to Lind’s petite frame. She is generally reported to stand around 5 feet 3 inches to 5 feet 4 inches (160–163 cm) tall, with a petite US shoe size of about 5.5.

Lind paired the sandals with a textured cream-colored mini dress from Erdem’s Pre-Spring 2027 collection. The dress had a round neckline and short puff sleeves, giving the simple silhouette a sculptural, feminine shape.

A contrasting black floral patch decorated the right side of the chest, adding a graphic detail to the light-colored fabric. Beneath the structured mini hem, black lace trim peeked out, creating a delicate lingerie-inspired layer that contrasted with the dress’s more polished shape.

Caylee Cowan Pairs Relaxed Denim With Maison Margiela’s Sculptural Wedge Pumps

Caylee Cowan put together a chic, relatable summer look, and I loved how she gave classic wardrobe staples a fresh, modern twist. The crisp white shirt, blue denim, and sculptural pumps kept the outfit polished yet relaxed, making it perfect for a laid-back Venetian seaside photocall.

Standing around 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 6 inches (165–168 cm), with a reported US shoe size 9, Cowan slipped into white architectural pumps by Maison Margiela. Their sculptural wedge heels gave the otherwise minimalist shoes a distinctly contemporary edge.

From the front, the pumps had wide pointed toes that created a clean, elongated shape, while the unusual wedge heels added visual interest from the side. Cowan paired her Maison Margiela pumps with an oversized white button-down shirt featuring a slightly turned-up collar, front button closure, and an asymmetrical drape. She loosely tucked one side into her skirt while the other hung lower, creating an uneven hem that added to the relaxed styling. She also casually rolled the sleeves up to her elbows, making the crisp shirt look less formal.

Below, Caylee wore a structured, high-waisted denim midi skirt in a medium wash with slight fading down the front, also by Maison Margiela. The clean, straight-cut hem stopped around her mid-calf.

Aquazzura also surfaced elsewhere at the festival. Rooney Mara chose black satin Aquazzura Purist pumps in Venice, taking the label in a much sleeker direction than Lind’s chunky Aimée platforms. Together, the two looks showed the range of Aquazzura’s red-carpet vocabulary, from minimalist pointed-toe stilettos to retro-inspired platforms.
