The then-24-year-old actress wore a black sequined two-piece set from Italian fashion designer Giambattista Valli.
Her outfit featured a tuxedo-inspired sleeveless crop top with an oversized white bib collar and gold buttons, paired with a matching high-waisted mini skirt and sheer black stockings.

Thorne, who stands 5 feet 8 inches tall, finished the look with now-sold-out Tom Ford Mary Jane pumps that originally retailed for $1,490.
Rather than the rounded toe and low heel traditionally associated with Mary Janes, Ford’s version featured a sharp gold metal toe cap, satin straps with gold-tone buckles, and an angular heel measuring about four inches.

The contrast is what makes the shoes interesting. The Mary Jane is rooted in a much older strap-shoe tradition, but Ford recast the recognizable silhouette with metallic hardware, a sharper toe, and a geometric heel.
Thorne had experimented with the shape years earlier, too, wearing glittering Alice + Olivia “Gizelle” platform Mary Janes to the Pitch Perfect premiere in 2012. The Tom Ford pair shows how the same strap-across-the-foot idea can take on a much sharper, more architectural character.

Made from patent leather, the pointed-toe pumps featured adjustable slingback straps, approximately 4.3-inch stiletto heels, and the house’s gold-tone Medusa safety-pin hardware at the side.
