Alicia Vikander showcased her feminine, elegant style at the premiere and photocall for The Echo Chamber, her upcoming romantic drama, which is also competing for the Golden Lion at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival.

For the premiere, Vikander chose a more glamorous Louis Vuitton look, complete with matching sandals that perfectly complemented her outfit. Earlier that day, she went lighter and more summery for the photocall, wearing a breezy Chloé ensemble paired with strappy heels.

Alicia Vikander Pairs Louis Vuitton Stiletto Sandals With a Pastel-Green Gown

For the Venice International Film Festival premiere of The Echo Chamber, Alicia Vikander embraced dreamy, modern romance in a head-to-toe pastel-green Louis Vuitton look.

Her heels were also by Louis Vuitton and looked made for the dress. They featured a simple, classic shape with a slim strap across the toes and a delicate buckled strap around the ankle.

Their open-toe design kept the footwear light against the more dramatic skirt, while the roughly 4-inch stilettos added height to Vikander’s commonly reported 5’5″ (165.1 cm) frame. The silhouette is also familiar territory for the actress, who often favors streamlined heels that leave much of the foot exposed.

The minimalist sandals continued a footwear formula Vikander has returned to before. At the 2025 Serpentine Summer Party, she wore similarly pared-back silver stilettos with a slim toe strap and buckled ankle strap, again allowing a Louis Vuitton dress to remain the focus. She has an even longer history with this combination at Venice: at the 2016 festival premiere of The Light Between Oceans, she paired Louis Vuitton with black snakeskin ankle-strap sandals with roughly four-inch heels.

Vikander wore her The Echo Chamber sandals with a matching custom pastel-green silk Louis Vuitton dress. It had a strapless bustier bodice that hugged her figure, creating a clean, structured top against the much more dramatic skirt. A ruched waist gathered into an oversized bow sash at the front, adding a softer detail to the structured bodice.

From there, the skirt opened into an asymmetric high-low design, with the front rising enough to reveal her sandals and legs. Layers of airy ruffles framed the opening and continued down the sides, while the longer back extended into a flowing train that swept behind her.

I also loved the pale green shade against Vikander’s complexion. Combined with the fitted bodice and dramatic ruffled skirt, the dress looked elegant and romantic!

Alicia kept the rest of the styling simple, tucking her hair behind her ears and accentuating her features with soft, natural makeup. Cartier jewelry, including chunky earrings and a statement ring, added just enough sparkle to finish the look.

For the photocall, Alicia Vikander embraced a bohemian-chic vibe in Chloé, pairing a soft, romantic outfit with minimalist tan strappy sandals.

The sandals featured slim straps across the toes and over the foot, connected by a T-strap to a buckled ankle strap. Their simple, barely-there design kept them delicate and understated, working nicely with her more detailed outfit.

A closer look revealed metallic silver soles underneath, adding an unexpected contrast to the warm tan uppers. Barely-there sandals are also a useful counterpoint to Vikander’s more substantial red-carpet footwear: earlier in 2026, she wore metallic silver Jimmy Choo platform sandals with a voluminous Louis Vuitton gown at the BAFTA Invest in Talent Gala. At the Venice photocall, the slimmer T-strap design suited the lighter proportions and softer palette of her Chloé outfit.

Vikander paired the sandals with a Chloé Resort 2027 ensemble featuring a semi-sheer blush-pink top with delicate tiered ruffles. The French house is not new territory for her: during the 2018 Tomb Raider promotional tour, she wore a Chloé dress with the label’s open-toe River lace-up wedge booties at a Madrid photocall. Here, the lace edging, layered ruffles, and ribbon at the waist gave the much lighter Resort 2027 look its relaxed, bohemian character.

Below, she wore a high-waisted pencil skirt that ended a few inches above her knees. I loved how the micro-dot pattern added interest to the simple silhouette, while the belt loops gave the skirt a slightly more structured, tailored feel. It also had asymmetrical slip pockets for added practicality!

Long, layered gold necklaces completed Alicia’s boho-inspired styling, adding warmth and a little sparkle against her pale pink top. She kept her hair loose in tousled waves that framed her face, giving the polished outfit a relaxed finish.

Minimalist heels appeared elsewhere on the red carpet, with Kendall Jenner wearing barely-there Aquazzura So Nude sandals, while Suki Waterhouse chose burgundy Saint Laurent Apolline slingback pumps.
