On her feet were Jessica Rich ‘Love’ pumps in a gold-and-transparent finish. Originally priced at $99 as part of the designer’s Transparent collection, the pointed-toe pumps featured clear PVC panels, metallic gold patent piping, and slim 4.7-inch (120mm) stiletto heels.
The transparent construction also revealed one practical drawback of PVC footwear. Because the material offers little ventilation, heat and moisture can become visible inside the shoe. The exact ‘Love’ pump is no longer among the Jessica Rich styles Nordstrom carries as of August 2026, but the brand remains active at the retailer with a considerably broader and more expensive footwear lineup. Nordstrom lists styles including the Bella Stiletto and So Expensive Sandal at $150, the Racy Mule and Jessica Sandal at $175, the Fancy Stiletto and Lala Sandal at $195, and platform and wedge designs reaching $225.
Jessica Rich’s clear heels have appeared on several other YNS red carpets, including Kelly Rowland’s gold-accented ‘Expensive’ PVC sandals and the statement Jessica Rich sandals worn by Eva Marcille and Lil’ Kim at the BET Awards. Normani Changes Into LaQuan Smith and Strappy Heels for the Streamy Awards
One day after her Billboard Women in Music Awards appearance, Normani attended the 9th Annual Streamy Awards held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

How to Keep Feet From Sweating in PVC and Clear Shoes
Normani’s fogged-up pumps illustrate the main drawback of clear footwear: PVC and other plastic materials offer very little airflow, so heat and moisture can become trapped against the foot. If you love the look of transparent heels, a few practical steps can make them more comfortable and help keep condensation from becoming as visible.
Start with dry feet. Apply foot antiperspirant to clean, completely dry skin before wearing PVC shoes. Foot powder can also help absorb moisture, particularly around the soles and toes.
Add an absorbent layer. When the design allows it, a thin moisture-absorbing insole or discreet shoe liner can help keep perspiration away from the plastic footbed. The key is choosing something thin enough that it does not noticeably change the fit of an already snug pump or sandal.
Give plastic shoes time to dry. When possible, avoid wearing the same enclosed PVC pair on consecutive days. Letting the interior dry completely between wears helps prevent lingering moisture and odor.
Keep the shoes clean and dry between outings. Wipe moisture from the interior after wearing them, then let the shoes air-dry naturally before storing them. Activated-charcoal or cedar shoe inserts can also help absorb residual dampness and odor while the shoes are off your feet.
Be careful with DIY fixes. Some wearers use panty liners as makeshift absorbent inserts or apply oils inside clear shoes to reduce sticking, but these tricks can affect fit, appearance, or the shoe material. A purpose-made, low-profile shoe liner is the safer choice for expensive heels.
